The K-Pop community is in mourning following the sudden death of Moonbin, a member of the popular boy band Astro. Moonbin was found dead in his residence on Wednesday night, leaving his fans and fellow artists in shock.
In light of the tragedy, girl group Billlie, which is currently promoting its fourth EP, has announced the postponement and cancellation of its scheduled activities this week. The decision was made due to the close relationship between Moonbin and Moon Sua, who is a member of Billlie and Moonbin’s younger sister.
Mystic Story, the agency of Billlie, issued a statement on the group's fan cafe expressing its condolences and informing fans about the cancellations. The statement also mentioned that the agency will re-notify the dates for the fan meet-and-greet, and will update on the cancellation of other schedules, including broadcasting appearances.
The loss of Moonbin has left the K-Pop industry in a state of shock and grief. Moonbin & Sanha, a subunit of Astro, was also scheduled to appear on "Dream Concert" on May 27, adding to the sadness of the situation.
