SM Entertainment and CJes Studios Acknowledge Relationship Between aespa's Karina and Actor Lee Jae-wook

In a joint statement to The Korea Herald on Tuesday, SM Entertainment and CJes Studios confirmed that Karina of the K-pop group aespa and actor Lee Jae-wook are currently in a relationship. Both agencies noted that the two individuals are "getting to know each other," and requested privacy for the couple.

Lee Jae-wook's agency, CJes Studios, emphasized the need for privacy due to the actor's ongoing involvement in filming a drama. The confirmation follows a local report disclosing that the pair has been dating since their initial meeting at Prada’s 2024 Fall/Winter Men’s Collection fashion show in Milan on January 14.

The report mentioned that Karina and Lee Jae-wook often met in the actor's neighborhood, where Karina resides with her group members. Additionally, sightings of the couple on a late-night walk in Lee Jae-wook's neighborhood were reported.

Lee Jae-wook, 26, made his debut as an actor in the tvN drama "Memories of the Alhambra" in 2018 and is scheduled to star in the upcoming Disney+ series "The Impossible Heir," premiering on Wednesday. Karina, 24, debuted as a member of aespa in 2020 and is gearing up for the group's second world tour scheduled for June.
