Everland, situated in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, is organizing special events in honor of the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday, dedicated to the Year of the Blue Dragon.
Good Luck Message Cards: Visitors at Everland’s Butterfly Garden and Carnival Square receive good luck message cards featuring animation characters. These cards convey wishes for health, happiness, love, bravery, wealth, and more, allowing visitors to discover their fortune for the year.
Lunar New Year Games: From 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can participate in various Lunar New Year holiday games at Carnival Square. Games include a whipping top, "jegichagi" (a game with Korean-style shuttlecocks), arrow-throwing "tuho," and the traditional Korean board game "yutnori."
Mascots in Hanbok: Everland’s mascots, Lenny and Lara, don traditional Korean attire (hanbok) and offer photo opportunities with visitors.
Lunar New Year Food Truck: A special Lunar New Year-themed food truck at Carnival Square sells snacks, including Korean rice cakes, "eomuk" (Korean-style fish cakes), green tea, and more.
Multimedia Show "Evertopia": Held at night from Thursday to Sunday, the multimedia show "Evertopia" features video laser fireworks.
Fu Bao Exhibition - Bao Haus: Those wanting to create a special memory with Fu Bao, the first panda born in Korea, can visit Bao Haus, a Fu Bao-themed exhibition at the center of Everland. The indoor exhibition showcases the stories of Fu Bao’s family through videos, photos, and holograms.
Opening Hours: Everland is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the Lunar New Year holidays, with a closing time of 7 p.m. on Feb. 12.
