Renowned singer-songwriter and producer Bang Ye-dam has taken a significant step in his musical journey by signing an exclusive contract with GF Entertainment, his newly-announced agency, as confirmed on Thursday.
Notably recognized as a former member of YG Entertainment's esteemed boy band Treasure, Bang Ye-dam's transition to GF Entertainment marks a new chapter in his artistic voyage. In an official press release issued on Thursday, GF Entertainment expressed their excitement regarding the exclusive collaboration with Bang Ye-dam. Bang Ye-dam's rise to prominence was catalyzed by his appearance on SBS's "K-pop Star Season 2" in 2013, where he claimed a remarkable second-place finish. Subsequently, he joined the ranks of YG Entertainment and went on to debut as an integral member of Treasure in 2019. However, he chose to part ways with YG Entertainment in November 2022, culminating in his departure from the boy band.
