A new cultural landmark emerges in Itaewon, Seoul, as Moda Gallery opens its doors with its inaugural exhibition, Isabelle de Gannes: Where Light Rests. The exhibition, featuring the works of world-renowned Impressionist artist Isabelle de Gannes, will run from February 4 to April 3, 2025.
As Moda Gallery’s debut showcase, the exhibition aims to offer art enthusiasts an immersive experience of light and color. Positioned as a bridge between contemporary art and the public, Moda Gallery aspires to become a central hub for cultural exchange and modern creativity in Korea. This inaugural event sets the tone for its mission to introduce globally significant art to domestic audiences.
Isabelle de Gannes, celebrated for her Impressionist mastery, captures the landscapes of Rouen and Normandy, evoking the subtleties of light and seasonal transitions. Her work vividly portrays the natural and urban sceneries of France, bringing warmth and vibrancy to viewers through her distinctive use of color and contrast. Her paintings are known to leave a lasting emotional impact, blending delicate hues with dramatic compositions.
The exhibition is open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM, excluding Mondays. Admission fees are set at 15,000 KRW for adults and 9,000 KRW for students. Early bird tickets, offering a 30% discount, are available through Interpark until February 3. This two-month exhibition promises a unique artistic journey for all visitors.
