TripleS, the largest K-pop girl group boasting 24 members, unveiled their latest album titled "Assemble24" on Wednesday, showcasing the lead single "Girls Never Die."
The album marks the first collective performance of all 24 members since the group's inception as a 10-piece ensemble in 2023. Following their debut with the EP "Assemble," the members diversified into various sub-units such as EVOLution and Aria, introducing 14 new members over time.
Member Chaeyeon emphasized the significance of "Assemble24" as the commencement of a new chapter for the group during a press event at YES24 Live Hall in eastern Seoul's Gwangjin District.
TripleS stands as one of several K-pop acts with over 20 members. Notably, boy band NCT under SM Entertainment consists of 26 members, performing across various sub-units including NCT127, NCT Dream, and NCT Wish.
The logistical challenges inherent in managing a group of TripleS's size were highlighted by member Yooyeon, who mentioned the need for five minivans and a bus for transportation. Nakyoung elaborated on early call times for hair and makeup, with some members required to start as early as 1 a.m.
