After a hiatus of more than two years, B1A4, the South Korean boy band, has made a comeback with their eighth mini album, titled "Connect." The release follows their last digital single, "Huge Horse," in November 2021.

All three members, who recently completed their mandatory military service, expressed excitement about the new album at a press showcase in Seoul on Monday. Sandeul, who finished his military service in August, shared his nervousness and hoped for the audience's enjoyment.

CNU contributed to writing and composing the second and third tracks, "Back To You" and "Pause," while Sandeul took part in the fourth track, "When You Call My Name." The trio collaborated on the writing and composing of the last track, "Still In My Heart."

The title song, "Rewind," composed and written by CNU, is a new jack swing number that exudes a bright and refreshing energy. CNU highlighted that the genre allowed him to create a trans-generational song, drawing inspiration from the '80s and '90s music.

During the two-year break, B1A4 members fulfilled their mandatory military service and pursued solo careers. Despite individual endeavors, the group remained committed to their collective passion for B1A4. Gongchan, the youngest member, recalled their frequent meetings to discuss the new album.

Approaching their 13th anniversary since debut, CNU expressed the group's enduring ambition, stating, "Although it has been almost 13 years since our debut, we still feel like we haven’t shown a quarter of what we've got. There’s so much we want to do as B1A4." The band looks forward to continuing their journey and celebrating with their fans, known as BANA.
