▲ ⓒ SM EntertainmentRiize will contribute to the original soundtrack of a Japanese drama, SM Entertainment announced on Friday. The boy band will perform "Same Key" for the drama “Makeup with Mud,” which premieres on TV Asahi this Saturday. This romantic song will be Riize's first OST for a Japanese drama and will be available online starting Sunday.

In other news, Riize's debut EP "Riizing," released last month, has dominated Oricon’s daily, weekly, and combined album rankings. The EP also topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 10 regions.

The prologue single from the EP, “Impossible,” was recognized by Billboard as one of “The 20 Best K-Pop Songs of 2024 (So Far): Critic’s Picks” and by NME as one of “The 15 Best K-pop Songs of 2024 – So Far.”

The band is scheduled to officially debut in Japan this September.
