Gi-Mwi is a social media-based illustrator in South Korea who draws cute and adorable animal characters.
The characters in her illustrations spend familiar days that are not much different from our daily lives, such as cleaning, meeting friends, or going on a trip.
The reason why the artist's paintings are gaining popularity is because of this everyday familiarity. She represents in her paintings the precious memories and happy experiences we all have in our daily lives.
Small but certain happiness, the warm daily landscape that everyone dreams of, is the theme in the illustration that the artist hopes to express the most.
Currently, she is holding her first solo exhibition at 'Like Thiz With' in Daegu. The exhibition will be held until January 2nd next year.
