Both exhibitions are based on a 10-panel folding screen depicting the "Seven Jeweled Mountain," or Chilbosando, a priceless cultural heritage of Korea. The screen is a valuable artifact of the Cleveland Museum.
Ryu provided English and Korean audio commentaries for the exhibitions, portraying the voice of Keumho Lim Hyung-soo (1514-1547), a Joseon-era scholar known for his exploration of Mount Chilbo.
The Seoul exhibition at the National Palace Museum of Korea will run until May 26, while the exhibition in Cleveland will continue until September 29.
