Lee Jin is a Korean illustrator who draws bright and lively pictures.
She usually features nature, animals, and objects in her work by characterizing them in her style.
She was inspired by graffiti and cartoons she encountered in her childhood and applied them to her work.
In the artist's work, everyday objects are expressed cutely and humorously, making viewers laugh.
The artist hopes that her work will deliver a moment of laughter and happiness to others, saying 'It may be difficult to be happy all the time, but hope my daily life is generally happy and enjoyable.".
In an interview, she also conveyed her view of art, saying, "I want visitors to enjoy the painting itself and receive pleasant energy while watching the work rather than finding the meaning of the painting.".
currently, she is holding a solo exhibition until Dec. 19 at the Like Thiz With Gyodong branch in Daegu.
