Rookie girl group Hearts 2 Hearts is set to make their official debut with their first single, The Chase, featuring two distinct tracks that showcase their versatile musical style. The title track will exude an air of mystery and intrigue, while the accompanying B-side track delivers a softer, more sentimental tone.
The title track, The Chase, is characterized by dreamlike sound elements and a unique bass synth, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The song, penned by renowned composer Kenzie, draws inspiration from Alice in Wonderland, reflecting the group’s debut journey. The lyrics express a powerful message: "I will pave my path forward."
The B-side track, Butterflies, is a mid-tempo R&B song infused with rich bass lines and delicate guitar melodies. Complemented by warm vocal harmonies, the song conveys the emotions of the members as they embrace their long-awaited debut moment.
Hearts 2 Hearts, the latest girl group to emerge from SM Entertainment, consists of eight members: Jiwoo, Carmen, Yuha, Stella, Jueun, Aina, Ian, and Yeon. With a name symbolizing connection and unity, the group is set to bring fresh energy to the K-pop scene.
The group’s first single, The Chase, will be released on February 24, both digitally and as a physical album, marking the beginning of their dream-filled journey.
