K-pop boy band Seventeen has secured the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart for the week of June 14 with their latest release, Happy Burstday, Billboard announced Monday.
This marks the group’s third time reaching the No. 2 position on the chart, following the success of FML and Seventeenth Heaven, both released in 2023. With this latest achievement, Seventeen has now placed seven consecutive albums in the Billboard 200’s top 10, beginning with Face the Sun in 2022.
Happy Burstday, the band’s fifth full-length album, sold an impressive 2.52 million copies within its first week of release — making it the best-selling K-pop album of 2025 so far. The album has also topped major Asian music charts, including Japan’s Oricon and China’s QQ Music.
Released in celebration of Seventeen’s 10th debut anniversary on May 26, Happy Burstday features a total of 16 tracks, including three group songs and solo songs from each of the 13 members — a first for the group.
“We want to thank every Carat that has supported us,” Seventeen said in a press statement, referring to their official fan club. “We are having such a meaningful 10th anniversary of debut thanks to Carat. We also want to thank the members for their hard work.”
