Johyun Gallery, which opened its doors in Gwanganli, Busan in 1989 as Gallery World, celebrates its 31st anniversary this year. The gallery has since relocated to a new exhibition space in Dalmaji Hill near Haeundae Beach in 2007, offering a panoramic view of the Busan ocean and transforming the neighborhood into an art hub. In the same year, the gallery opened another space in Chungdamdong, Seoul, with the aim of becoming a leading instrument in introducing and exhibiting diverse works of art.
