Two-Day Festival to Feature K-pop Acts and Special Concerts in Busan

The Busan One Asia Festival (BOF), now in its eighth edition, is set to take place over two days on June 8 and 9. Hosted by the Busan city government and organized by the Busan Tourism Organization, the festival aims to celebrate Asian culture and entertainment.

The first day of the festival will feature the BOF Big Concert at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium, showcasing various K-pop artists. The lineup for the Park Concert on June 9 at Hwamyeong Eco Park has yet to be announced.
 

▲ BOF Big Concert 2021 / Courtesy of BOFThe BOF Big Concert will include performances by nine acts, ranging from veteran groups to up-and-coming rookies. Confirmed performers include g.o.d, Super Junior-D&E, Zerobaseone, Boynextdoor, Nowadays, n.SSign, Lun8, H1-Key, and Billlie.

For international visitors, the city government and Busan Tourism Organization have partnered with overseas ticketing websites, including KKTIX in Taiwan and Ticket Pia in Japan, to facilitate online ticket purchases. Tickets for the BOF Big Concert will be available for sale starting at 7 p.m. on Friday. Special BOF tour packages, which include KTX tickets from Seoul to Busan, are also offered for travelers entering through Incheon and Gimpo international airports.

Traditionally held in October, the festival has been moved up to June this year in response to requests from the tourism industry in Busan. The change aims to alleviate transportation and lodging challenges for BOF visitors, given the concentration of major festivals in the city in the latter half of the year.
