Jungkook stands as the sole male nominee in the Pop Artist of the Year category, competing against artists such as Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae, and Taylor Swift.
The K-pop sensation officially debuted as a solo artist with the single “Seven (feat. Latto)” in July 2023. The song achieved global success, topping the Billboard Hot 100, securing the No. 3 spot on the UK’s Official Single Chart Top 100, and amassing over a billion streams on Spotify within 108 days of its release.
Notably, Jungkook previously secured the Collaboration Song of the Year award at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards for his contribution to Charlie Puth's "Left and Right (Feat. Jung Kook of BTS)."
