Jay Chang, a promising talent from "Boys Planet," is all set to make his debut with a solo EP titled "Late Night," slated for release on Oct. 17. Despite landing at No. 10 in the final episode of the Mnet's boy band audition program, narrowly missing out on joining the nine-member project ZeroBaseOne, Chang's musical journey continues with this highly anticipated solo venture.
"Late Night" is envisioned as an album that showcases Jay Chang's diverse musical world, featuring songs spanning various genres, complemented by his versatile vocal skills, as stated by his agency, FM Entertainment. The EP comprises six tracks, including two lead tracks, "I'll Be There" and "Rockstar," alongside "Up To You," "Sunlight," and English versions of the two main tracks. Notably, Jay Chang actively contributed to the lyrics of all the songs on the album.
The release will have two versions, "Late" and "Night," adding to the anticipation among fans. Preorders for the album have already commenced, paving the way for a successful debut for this emerging talent.
Jay Chang initially made waves in the world of music through his participation in MBC's boy band audition program "Under Nineteen" in 2018, securing the 18th position in the sixth episode. Following this, he graced the stage of "Boys Planet" in 2023. Before embarking on his solo debut, Jay Chang had unveiled three digital single releases, namely "Is you" (2020), "Liar" (2022), and "I'd do anything."
Marking a new chapter in his musical journey, Jay Chang signed with FM Entertainment in September, laying the foundation for what promises to be a remarkable solo career.
