The 5th Art Rock Festival, organized by Eco Rock Gallery, which launched an 'art installment finance product' and started an art platform business, will be held at the Hangaram Art Museum in Seoul.
Eco Rock Gallery planned the art fair to introduce emerging artists in South Korea and to narrow the distance between artists and collectors. The event will display about 900 works by 90 young Korean artists selected based on actual transaction price data.
The system is said to promote the "popularization of artworks" in that artworks, which have been regarded only as the exclusive possession of some privileged classes, can break the stereotype and be easily purchased by ordinary people in installments.
This online art trading platform allows artists to decide on their own whether to disclose their works and can directly manage work information and sales details, helping to record all the artist's information and prevent possible counterfeiting and imitation problems in the future.
On April 6, the art fair's VIP opening event will be held. On this day, the progress of the Eco Rock Gallery's business will be shared, and various events will be held for many to participate and enjoy together.
In addition, at 4 p.m. on the 6th, 7th, 9th, and 11th, Jang Hyun-geun, the representative of the Eco Rock Gallery, will hold a docent event to explain the works in person.
The event will be held at the same time on the online platform Eco Rock Gallery and the "Art Exchange," an application for searching the actual transaction price of art so that anyone can easily enjoy and check, and purchase works.
