K-pop artist AleXa is set to make history as the first female solo singer from Korea to perform at the annual iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour, a highly-anticipated holiday season concert series showcasing the year's top musicians. Presented by Capital One for the ninth year, the 2023 Jingle Ball Tour will kick off on November 26 at Florida's Amalie Arena and make stops in 10 more major cities across the United States, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, and Washington.
AleXa, also known as Alex Christine, hails from ZB Label, and her journey to the Jingle Ball stage is a testament to her rapid rise in the music industry. She first gained recognition by winning Soompi's Rising Legend contest in 2017 and subsequently signed with ZB Label. Her official debut came in 2019 with the release of her first single, "Bomb." Notably, she clinched victory at NBC's "American Song Contest" last year, further solidifying her place in the industry.
The 2023 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour boasts an impressive lineup of artists, including Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, Nicki Minaj, Usher, One Republic, and a slew of K-pop acts such as NCT Dream, (G)I-dle, and P1Harmony. As part of her expanding career, AleXa is gearing up for the release of a new album and a national concert tour in the United States next year, indicating that her influence on the global music scene is set to continue growing.
