Renowned music producers, including Marcus Andersson (known for collaborating with Le Sserafim on their first English single "Perfect Night"), Lauren Aquilina (renowned for hits with Little Mix, Demi Lovato, and Ive), and experienced K-pop producer Chloe Latimer, contributed to VCHA's inaugural single.
The music video for "Girls of the Year" depicts the six members honing their skills at a dance studio, diligently working towards achieving global stardom. The climax showcases the girls performing on a concert stage before their fans. Sung entirely in English, the single highlights the group's impressive vocal talents.
VCHA is slated to open for the K-pop girl group Twice during their fifth world tour, starting in Mexico on Feb. 2-3, followed by performances in Brazil on Feb. 6-7, and Las Vegas on March 16.
Recognized as one of Grammy.com's "25 Artists To Watch In 2024," and with their single album listed among Nylon's "22 Albums We're Excited For In 2024," VCHA emerges as a promising addition to the global music scene.

JYP Entertainment's latest endeavor, the girl group VCHA, marked their debut with the release of the single album "Girls of the Year" on Friday. Notably, VCHA stands as JYP's inaugural multinational girl group introduced in the United States.
Comprising six members hailing from Korea, the US, and Canada, VCHA was selected through the collaborative K-pop girl group production project "A2K," jointly organized by JYP and the American music label Republic Records. The project, aired on YouTube in July last year, served as the platform for identifying and forming the group.
