Onew, a member of the popular K-pop group SHINee, has recently sparked concerns among fans after appearing visibly thin and fatigued during a television appearance. The singer had previously announced a temporary hiatus from music activities due to health concerns.

Viewers caught a glimpse of SHINee's Taemin and his daily life on a recent episode of an MBC variety show, where Onew also made an appearance alongside his bandmates. Despite the group's preparations for their highly anticipated comeback with their eighth studio album, "HARD," Onew's personal health issues have forced him to take a step back. Nonetheless, Onew appeared to enjoy the company of his fellow members during their rehearsal, even though his physical condition seemed to have significantly deteriorated.

During the show, the SHINee members reminisced about their numerous performances on various stages across the nation. Taemin shared a humorous anecdote about forgetting to remove his in-ear monitor after leaving the stage, often discovering the device still attached while riding in the van. Minho corroborated the story, revealing that he frequently found the monitors tucked away in Taemin's pockets.

In the studio, laughter filled the air as Taemin amusingly proclaimed, "I think I'm the only one here who's gotten into a spat with every single one of you. I believe you all let me win because you're older and didn't really care about winning an argument against the youngest member."

On June 9, SM Entertainment, the agency representing SHINee, issued a statement, saying, "Due to Onew's poor health, medical professionals have advised him to take a break and seek treatment. SHINee's upcoming concert and album release will proceed as planned with Key, Minho, and Taemin. Onew's return will be announced at a later date, depending on his recovery progress."

Expressing his gratitude to fans, Onew shared a message, stating, "I am currently focused on my recovery, but I hope to reunite with you all soon. I apologize for any concerns I may have caused. Consider this break as an opportunity to ensure a brighter future for SHINee. I have made this decision with our long-term goals in mind."
