TVXQ! is set to make a comeback in the K-pop scene with their ninth full-length album, "20&2," scheduled for release on December 26. The album, featuring 10 songs across various genres, includes the title track "Rebel." This marks the duo's first release in five years, following their previous album "New Chapter #2: The Truth of Love" in December 2018.
According to their agency, SM Entertainment, the new dance track "Rebel" is described as a seamless blend of intense drum beats with heavy synth bass sounds. The lyrics convey a message about a true rebel of an era being someone who steadfastly follows their convictions without being swayed.
In celebration of their 20th debut anniversary, TVXQ! will host the "2023 TVXQ! CONCERT [20&2]" at the new Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, from December 30 to 31. Additionally, the exhibition "2023 TVXQ! EXHIBITION 20&2" is scheduled to take place at Inspire Entertainment Resort in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, from December 23 to January 6, 2024.
Originally debuting as a quintet in 2003, TVXQ! emerged as pioneers of the second generation of K-pop idols, amassing an extensive fan base with hits like "HUG" (2004) and "Mirotic" (2008).
