Auditions to Commence Worldwide, Welcoming Applicants Born Between 2005 and 2013

Successful applicants, upon final acceptance, will be granted the opportunity to enter SM Entertainment's training program and sign a contract with the agency.

Established in 1995 by Lee Soo-man, SM Entertainment has grown to become one of the prominent K-pop agencies in Korea, housing renowned acts such as EXO, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, aespa, Riize, and more. Lee Soo-man departed from the agency in February after the conclusion of his contract, amid conflicts related to SM Entertainment's stocks and taxes.

SM Entertainment has announced the initiation of the "2024 SM Global Audition," a global talent search aimed at discovering new faces for the K-pop industry. The audition process will commence on January 6, starting in Seoul, and will extend to several cities in South Korea, including Daegu, Busan, Daejeon, Wonju, Gwangju, and Jeju.
This global endeavor will also feature auditions in various international locations, including cities in Japan, the United States, and Canada. The auditions are open to individuals born between 2005 and 2013, without any restrictions based on gender or nationality.
