Soojin, who debuted in 2018 as part of the girl group (G)I-DLE under Cube Entertainment, departed from the group in 2021 amid allegations of school violence. Following these events, Cube Entertainment terminated her exclusive contract the following year. After maintaining a low profile for two years, Soojin made her return to the music scene by collaborating with her current agency, BRD Entertainment, to release her debut solo EP, "Agassy."
The singer has expressed her commitment to hosting fan meet and greet events in other countries across Asia, Oceania, and the United States, starting with the event in Japan.

Former (G)I-DLE member Soojin, now a solo artist under BRD Entertainment, is set to hold her inaugural fan meet and greet on Wednesday and Thursday at the Cutup Studio in Tower Records Shibuya, Japan. The event aims to celebrate Soojin's first solo EP, "Agassy," released on November 8.
This occasion marks Soojin's first overseas event since her return as a solo artist, as stated by her agency. The fan meet and greet will feature performances of the lead and title track, "Agassy," along with other B-side tracks from her solo EP.
