Members Open Up About Inspirations and Challenges Behind New Album

K-pop group Le Sserafim unveiled their third EP, titled "Easy," on Monday, addressing themes of personal struggles and artistic growth.

During a press conference in Seoul, Kazuha of Le Sserafim emphasized the group's intention to portray their vulnerabilities and uncertainties through their music, aiming to connect with listeners on a deeper level.

The EP features a departure from the group's previous musical style, incorporating diverse genres and performances to showcase their versatility. The titular track, "Easy," blends trap elements with R&B influences, showcasing a different side of Le Sserafim's artistry.

Producer Bang Si-hyuk played a significant role in shaping the vocal performance on "Easy," emphasizing the importance of conveying emotion through the music.

Members discussed the unique recording process for the lead track, which aimed to capture a specific mood and atmosphere.

Despite the laid-back melody of "Easy," the choreography for the song was described as challenging, reflecting the group's commitment to delivering powerful performances.

Le Sserafim's upcoming performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April was highlighted as a significant milestone for the group, providing an opportunity to showcase their talent on a global stage. Leader Kim Chaewon expressed gratitude for the opportunity and teased an exciting performance in the works.
