Apple Music Classical has officially launched its web version, allowing users to enjoy its vast classical music catalog directly from their desktops. This move significantly expands accessibility, making it easier than ever for listeners to explore and experience classical music beyond mobile devices.

According to Apple Music Classical, the web launch will provide users with seamless access to an extensive library of classical recordings. Anjali Malhotra, Global Director of Apple Music Classical, emphasized the significance of this update, stating, “With over 5 million tracks and 50 million data points, the world’s largest classical music catalog is now more convenient to access on desktop.”

To commemorate the launch, exclusive content will be available for a limited time. For the next six weeks, Apple Music Classical will feature an exclusive performance of Julius Eastman’s Symphony No. 2 and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 2, performed by Franz Welser-Möst and The Cleveland Orchestra. Additionally, exclusive interviews and curated playlists featuring top Korean artists, including pianist Cho Seong Jin, will be accessible on the platform.

Apple Music Classical subscribers can enjoy this expanded accessibility without additional charges, as it remains included in existing Apple Music subscriptions. The launch of the web version marks a significant step in Apple’s effort to broaden the reach of classical music, catering to both dedicated enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
