Girl group aespa released "Die Trying" on April 4, a track featured on the soundtrack of Netflix's "Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver." The song, produced in collaboration with Korean American DJ TOKiMONSTA, serves as the theme for the character Nemesis, portrayed by Korean actress Bae Doo-na. The "Inspired By" EP, which includes "Die Trying," also features contributions from Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez and Dominican rapper Tokischa.
