Neowiz’s flagship rhythm game, DJMAX RESPECT V, is set to launch a long-awaited collaboration with Blue Archive.
On March 14, Neowiz unveiled a collaboration teaser image on DJMAX RESPECT V's Steam page and official social media channels. The teaser features Rikuhachima Aru, one of Blue Archive's most popular characters, making her signature shocked expression in front of an explosion.
Neowiz has previously collaborated with Nexon, adding “Constant Moderato”, the title screen BGM from Blue Archive, as DLC content in DJMAX RESPECT V. This sparked discussions about a potential full-fledged collaboration between the two franchises. The speculation intensified following a successful collaboration with MapleStory two years later. As fan requests for a standalone Blue Archive DLC pack continued, Neowiz officially confirmed the project during its “V Liberty 2” official broadcast.
According to the DJMAX development team, they worked directly with Nexon Games and Studio ALLO to acquire official multi-track recordings of Blue Archive’s music. This ensures that, unlike many previous collaborations, this DLC pack will feature fully integrated key sounds, a feature highly anticipated by fans.
While the full tracklist has not yet been revealed, the teaser image suggests that "Unwelcome School", popularly known as "Aru BGM", will likely be included. Other iconic Blue Archive background tracks are also expected to be part of the DLC.
The DJMAX RESPECT V x Blue Archive collaboration DLC pack is scheduled for release on April 24. Further details on track listings and additional content will be revealed in the coming weeks.
