Renowned Pianist's Performances Postponed for Medical Reasons

Pianist Lim Yunchan, celebrated for his prodigious talent, has canceled his upcoming concerts across Europe due to a strain in his hand.

The announcement, made via Lim's social media accounts and his overseas agency, IMG Artists, cited the pianist's ongoing treatment with medical professionals for the injury.

Lim expressed regret over the cancellations, emphasizing his passion for performing and his commitment to swift recovery.

Lim, who recently turned 20, gained international acclaim after winning the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2022. This setback marks another instance of health-related cancellations for Lim, following a bout of ear infection last year.

Despite the disruption, Lim anticipates returning to the stage for an upcoming performance with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in April.
