In a notable accolade, the New York Times has recognized aespa's English-language single, "Better Things," as one of the "Best Songs of 2023." Described as a "K-pop kiss-off with ingeniously cascading vocal harmonies and absolutely no regrets," the song stands out as the sole K-pop representation on the prestigious list. The minimal dance tune made its debut in August and took the stage for the first time at the group's concert in Los Angeles.
Aespa's recent achievements extend beyond the music realm. The quartet's fourth EP, "Drama," released last month, marked their third consecutive album to surpass one million copies in the first week. Additionally, "Drama" secured a position on the Billboard 200, entering the main albums chart at No. 33.
The group's global influence reached new heights as they were named among the "25 Most Influential Women of 2023" by the Financial Times. Aespa proudly stands as the sole Korean entry on this prestigious list, showcasing their impact on the international stage.
