Several K-pop groups are slated to release new music in January 2024, marking a return to the music scene after a hiatus.
B1A4, the boy band, is set to release its eighth mini-album, "Connect," on January 8, marking their first release in over two years. The album details, including the tracklist, remain undisclosed. B1A4, which debuted in 2011 as a quintet, rebranded as a trio in 2018.
On the same day, K-pop girl group ITZY will launch their album, "Born To Be," featuring the lead single "Untouchable." Notably, all five members of ITZY will include solo tracks on the album, contributing to the composition and lyrics.
NMIXX, another girl group under JYP Entertainment, is set to make a comeback on January 15 with the second mini-album, "Fe3O4: BREAK." The group unveiled a preview of one of the songs, "Sonar (Breaker)," blending Latin-inspired hip-hop and UK garage.
The upcoming releases reflect a diverse range of styles and contributions from the artists, indicating an exciting start to the musical year for K-pop enthusiasts.
