On Monday, Le Sserafim, the girl group, unveiled their first English-language digital single, "Perfect Night." The group provided a sneak peek of the track via the HYBE Labels YouTube channel and Source Music's official social media at midnight.
The preview video features Le Sserafim members riding in a pink sports car, accompanied by a two-step garage tune. The single's captivating melody and catchy guitar riff are poised to engage listeners, with lyrics like "Ooh by the morning, feel like magic" conjuring a lively scene of girls dancing and singing together at night.
Scheduled for launch on October 27, "Perfect Night" marks Le Sserafim's debut into English-language music. The single aims to convey the message that "imperfection can be transformed into a joyous occasion when in the company of friends."
An interesting aspect of the single is member Huh Yun-jin's involvement in penning the lyrics, highlighting her consistent contribution to Le Sserafim's songwriting endeavors since their debut last year. She has composed self-written tracks like "I ≠ DOLL" and "blessing in disguise," reflecting her personal experiences and perspectives.
Executive producer Bang Si-hyuk and producer team 13, known for their frequent collaborations with Le Sserafim, are joining forces again to bring "Perfect Night" to life, promising a unique narrative that showcases the group members' individuality.
In the coming month, the quintet will continue to expand their global presence with scheduled appearances at the Grammy Museum's online series Global Spin Live on November 2 (local time) and BlizzCon 2023, the world's largest gaming festival, held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, on November 4 (local time).
