On September 29 at 1 p.m., BTS member Jungkook is set to drop his highly anticipated second solo digital single, "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)." Fresh from headlining the 2023 Global Citizen Festival in New York's Central Park on September 24, Jungkook concluded his electrifying performance by offering a tantalizing teaser video of his upcoming single.
As the first Korean solo artist to take the helm at the Global Citizen Festival, Jungkook left fans eagerly awaiting the full release with a 10-second spoiler video that unveiled a glimpse of what's to come.
"3D" promises to be an R&B pop piece that delves into the complexities of unrequited love, using multidimensional relationships as a poignant metaphor. This track also marks a collaboration with rapper Jack Harlow.
Following his successful solo debut with "Seven" in July, Jungkook has achieved remarkable milestones, clinching the top spot on the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 chart and securing the third position on the U.K. official charts.
"Listeners will be able to witness the growth and maturity of Jungkook as a solo artist since 'Seven,'" remarked his agency, BigHit Music, in a statement.
With a mere two-month gap between these releases, Jungkook's swift return to the music scene emphasizes his escalating influence within the industry, both as a vital member of BTS and as an emerging force in the realm of solo artistry.
