K-pop Acts Shine on IFPI's 2023 Global Artist Chart

Seventeen, Stray Kids, Tomorrow X Together, and NewJeans Among Top 10

Stray Kids also made significant strides, climbing to No. 3 from their 2022 position of No. 7. Their latest release, "Rock-Star," not only topped the Billboard 200 chart for four consecutive weeks but also earned them their first entry on Billboard's Hot 100 with the lead track "Lalalala."
Tomorrow X Together entered the chart at No. 7, marking their career debut. The group achieved this milestone after topping the Billboard 200 with their fifth EP, "The Name Chapter: Temptation." Their popularity in the US was further highlighted by headlining Lollapalooza Chicago and performing at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.
NewJeans, the only female K-pop artists in the top 10, made their debut on the chart at No. 8. Their second EP secured the top spot on the Billboard 200 and ranked as the fifth most-sold physical album in the US in the past year.
Notably, Taylor Swift secured the top spot on the chart, marking her fourth time at No. 1, having previously achieved this in 2014, 2019, and 2022.

The IFPI Global Artist Chart evaluates popularity based on global streaming, downloads, and physical album and singles sales.
