BTS Member V's Solo Single "FRI(END)S" Dominates iTunes Charts Worldwide

BigHit Music revealed that BTS member V's new solo single, "FRI(END)S," topped the iTunes Top Song charts in 87 countries within 24 hours of its release. The digital single also secured the No. 1 position on the Worldwide iTunes Song and European iTunes Song charts.
Released at 1 p.m. (Korean time) on Friday, the pop soul song marks V's first solo project since his debut solo album, "Layover," which was released in September. The accompanying music video, launched simultaneously with the song, garnered over 6.7 million views on YouTube shortly after its release, topping trending music video charts in multiple countries.
"FRI(END)S" is written entirely in English and is described as a sweet love song portraying a confession of love to a friend.
