JYP Entertainment announced that boy band Stray Kids will release their first original soundtrack for a Japanese drama series on April 12. The soundtrack is for an upcoming Japanese drama titled "Re: Revenge - Yokubo No Hate Ni," set to premiere its first episode on April 11.
This marks Stray Kids' debut in creating a soundtrack for Japanese content, with the song titled "Why?" written by the group's production trio, 3racha, consisting of members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han.
In a press release, the members expressed excitement about their first Japanese drama soundtrack, aiming to align the lyrics with the storyline and the main character of the series.
Alongside their venture into the Japanese entertainment industry, Stray Kids is scheduled to host an offline fan event titled "Stray Kids Fan Connecting 2024 'SKZ Toy World'" on April 6 and 7 at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, and on April 27 and 28 at the Belluna Dome in Saitama.
Furthermore, the band is slated to participate in the I-Days and BST Hyde Park festivals in July and headline the Lollapalooza Chicago music festival in August.
