K-pop Group Achieves Seventh No. 1 on U.S. iTunes Worldwide Albums Chart

Dreamcatcher's latest EP, "VillainS," released on Wednesday, has secured the top spot on the iTunes Top Album charts in seven countries. The K-pop group reached No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes Worldwide Albums chart for the seventh time, and also claimed the top position on iTunes Top Albums charts in Germany, Australia, Austria, Malaysia, Norway, Poland, and Portugal. 

▲ Courtesy of DREAMCATCHER COMPANYAccording to Dreamcatcher Company, the agency representing the group, "VillainS" achieved top-5 rankings on iTunes Top Album charts in 22 regions, including Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, and Russia.

Marking their first release in six months since the eighth EP, "Apocalypse: From us," which debuted in May, "VillainS" features the lead track "OOTD." The music video for "OOTD" has garnered over 8 million views on YouTube.

To showcase their latest release, Dreamcatcher is set to perform "OOTD" on KBS's Music Bank on Friday. The seven-member group, comprised of JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon, debuted in 2017 and has consistently delivered hits such as "Chase Me" (2017), "Full Moon" (2018), "Deja Vu" (2019), "Scream" (2020), "Odd Eye" (2021), "Maison" (2022), and "Bon Voyage."
