Pledis Entertainment, the agency for K-pop group Seventeen, confirmed on Thursday that the group's upcoming EP, titled "Seventeenth Heaven," has amassed an impressive pre-order count of over 4.67 million, marking a new record for the band. This achievement surpasses the pre-order count of their prior EP, "FML," which logged 4.64 million pre-orders.
The 10th EP, "FML," released in April, saw remarkable success, selling more than 6.27 million units in total and breaking previous album sales records in the history of K-pop.
Teaser photographs for the upcoming EP, "Seventeenth Heaven," have been steadily released by the group, building anticipation among their global fanbase. The official release of the EP is scheduled for October 23.
Seventeen recently conducted an offline promotional event, "Seventeen Street," held in Seoul over a span of six days, concluding on Monday. The event drew a notable attendance of 100,000 fans, further illustrating the group's dedicated and expansive fanbase.
Adding to their recent accomplishments, the 13-member group received two prestigious awards at the 2023 The Fact Music Awards in Korea – the grand prize and artist of the year, underscoring their prominence and impact in the music industry.
