Representatives from Thailand's tourism industry participated in an immersive Korean cultural experience at the Korea Cultural Center (KCC) Thailand, engaging in traditional activities and exploring contemporary Korean culture through various hands-on programs.

The visiting tourism professionals explored the "Production Design: Scene Architects Build On-Screen World" exhibition currently on display at the center. This exhibition showcases the behind-the-scenes artistry of Korean film and television production design, offering visitors insight into how Korean visual storytellers create compelling on-screen environments.

One of the highlights of the visit was a kimchi-making workshop led by Mrs. Yoon Daesuk, owner of the popular Korean restaurant 'Myeongga.' Kimchi, Korea's iconic fermented vegetable dish, has gained significant recognition among Thai people, making this culinary experience particularly relevant for the tourism industry representatives. The hands-on cooking session provided participants with authentic knowledge about Korean food culture that they can share with potential travelers.

The cultural immersion continued with traditional Korean activities that offered participants a comprehensive understanding of Korea's rich heritage. Visitors had the opportunity to try on hanbok, Korea's beautiful traditional clothing, and take commemorative photographs. They also participated in classic Korean games including Tuho (arrow throwing), Ddakjichigi (a traditional slapping game), and Jegichagi (hacky sack with a traditional Korean shuttlecock).

These interactive experiences provided the Thai tourism professionals with firsthand knowledge of Korean culture that they can use to better promote Korea as a travel destination to Thai tourists. The Korea Cultural Center expressed sincere hopes that all participants would carry positive experiences and lasting memories from their visit, potentially strengthening cultural ties and tourism connections between Korea and Thailand.
