Woodz, the acclaimed singer-songwriter also known as Cho Seung-youn, is set to embark on an exciting encore world tour, as announced by his agency, EDAM Entertainment, on Monday.
The highly-anticipated tour will commence with two captivating performances in Seoul on October 28th and 29th, marking a homecoming of sorts for the artist. From there, Woodz will traverse the globe, captivating audiences in cities such as Osaka, Nagoya, Yokohama, Taipei, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, New York, and Bangkok throughout November and December.
The tour, aptly titled "OO-LI and," serves as a nod to his previous world tour, "OO-LI," which commenced in May. The Korean term "Oo-li" translates to "we" or "us," encapsulating the sense of unity and connection Woodz shares with his global fan base.
Woodz expressed his excitement about the upcoming tour, stating, "I am so happy to be able to relive the joy I felt through my first tour this year. I can't wait to meet with Moodz and make happy memories together."
"Moodz" is the official fan club name of the artist, underscoring the strong bond between Woodz and his dedicated supporters.
Ticket sales for the eagerly anticipated concerts will commence on September 19th exclusively for members of the fan club, with general sales opening to the public on September 21st.
Woodz's musical journey began in 2014 as a member of the boy band UNIQ under Yue Hua Entertainment. In 2018, he took a bold step into the realm of solo artistry as Woodz. His path further converged with the hit Mnet audition show "Produce X 101" in 2019, where he emerged as one of the 11 finalists forming the boy band X1. After X1 disbanded in early 2020, Woodz returned to UNIQ and continued to thrive as a solo artist, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and talented musician.
