Western painter Hong Se-yeon's solo exhibition will be held until the 24th.
Hong's solo exhibition, which expresses the world of utopia under the theme of the original forest and wild animals, will be held.
Hong, an artist characterized by intense works on nature such as wild animals, flowers, trees, and forests, said through this exhibition, "I meant to express peace and coexistence and the paradise where we dream of".
The artist's worldview, which argues for the unity of women, homes, and the womb, soon transforms into the shape of the forest. The forest is where various creatures live and breathe, meaning home to her.
She also describes the leopard which often appears in her work, she said, "The world that leopards look at and dream of is the world that I as a writer look at and dream of."
The exhibition which features intense colors, realistic descriptions, and dreamlike ideas, will be held at the Lee Seoul Gallery, and admission is free.
