Aespa's first full album, “Armageddon,” has claimed the top spot on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 25 regions, according to SM Entertainment on Tuesday. The album also reached the top of the worldwide iTunes albums chart and led various charts in Japan and China.
“Armageddon” received over 1 million pre-orders, positioning it to become the group's fourth million-selling album. This follows their three mini albums: “Girls,” “My World,” and “Drama.” The third EP, “My World,” set a new record for first-week album sales by a K-pop girl group with 1.69 million copies sold.
Following the promotion of the new album, Aespa will embark on their second world tour, starting with a two-day concert in Seoul on June 29-30. The "Synk: Parallel Line" tour will include performances in 13 additional cities across Asia and Australia.
