The world's first Haribo-themed media art exhibition arrived in Seoul from October 13, to
March 12, 2023. This is to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the famous jelly brand. The
title of the exhibition is "Welcome to the Haribo World," and it has turned the Insa Central
Museum in downtown Seoul into a interactive universe of mouth-watering gelatinous sweets.
Diplomats in Gat: The Story of the Joseon Legation in Washington, D.C. is a special
exhibition at the National Palace Museum of Korea, which is part of the Cultural Heritage
Administration of Korea. In honor of the start of diplomatic relations between Korea and the
U.S., a show of new state-registered cultural heritage will be held in the Special Exhibition
Gallery from October 14 to December 13.
A giant pumpkin sculpture by artist Yayoi Kusama was reinstalled on the Naoshima island in
Japan after being thrashed by a typhoon last year. This sculpture has been restored after
being damaged several times. The sculpture is made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic and is 2
meters tall and 2.5 meters wide.
Sotheby's held two auctions of modern art on Oct 14th in its London salesroom. This was
done to take advantage of the large number of collectors who were there for the annual
Frieze fair. Sotheby’s States $107 Million in London Frieze Sales. it is the best sale in Seven
Years.
