Girl group aespa, a rising force in the K-pop industry, has exciting news for fans around the world as they prepare to release their highly anticipated English single, "Better Things," on August 17 at midnight. This vibrant track comes a year and two months after their first English song, "Life's Too Short," which made waves upon its release on June 24, 2022.
"Better Things" promises to captivate listeners with its minimal up-tempo dance vibes, perfectly suited for the summer season. According to SM Entertainment's press release, the song will convey a powerful and positive message of cherishing the present moment and appreciating what we have.
While aespa gears up for their new music release, they are also embarking on their impressive "SYNK: HYPER LINE" tour, which commenced in Seoul last February and has since seen the quartet perform in Japan, Indonesia, and Thailand. This weekend, aespa is set to grace the prestigious Tokyo Dome stage on August 5 and 6, becoming the fastest foreign act to headline the iconic venue.
The tour's momentum will only intensify as aespa makes their way to the United States later this month, commencing with a grand performance in Los Angeles on August 13, followed by stops in seven other cities across the country. The group's journey will continue with international concerts in Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France in September.
In yet another historic milestone, aespa is slated to perform at the esteemed Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival at San Francisco's Golden Gate Park on August 11, becoming the first K-pop act to participate in the renowned event.
With each step on their global journey, aespa continues to captivate fans and set new records in the K-pop industry. As anticipation builds for their latest English single, "Better Things," and their awe-inspiring international tour, the girl group solidifies their position as a rising global sensation, spreading their positive energy and infectious music worldwide.
