Unfortunately, the provided content appears to be raw web page code rather than readable article text. While the title suggests this story is about a historic statue getting a new home, and there are fragments mentioning Cedar Rapids and the First Avenue Bridge, the actual article content is not accessible in the provided data.

The technical markup indicates this may be about the first sculpture ever displayed in Cedar Rapids that had been missing from its original location on the First Avenue Bridge for approximately one year. However, without access to the actual article text, a complete and detailed rewrite cannot be provided.

To properly rewrite this article, the actual readable content would need to be extracted from the web page source code or provided in a readable format.
