In a much-anticipated revelation, Woollim Entertainment, the agency behind the prominent girl group Rocket Punch, announced their triumphant return to the music scene with their upcoming third single, "Boom," set to drop on September 6th.
This forthcoming release marks a year-long hiatus, making it the girl group's first music venture since the unveiling of their second single, "Flash," in August of the previous year. The interval has ignited fervent excitement among fans, amplifying the anticipation for Rocket Punch's sonic comeback.
A captivating teaser video, unleashed on Wednesday, captivates with its vibrant visuals of bright pink heart balloons dancing in the backdrop. Amidst this kaleidoscope, the single's title and release date emerge, unveiling the imminent arrival of "Boom."
Some of Rocket Punch's members, including Yeonhee, Suyun, and Juri, have recently graced the stage of Mnet's girl group survival program, "Queendom Puzzle." Yeonhee's sixth-place ranking, with a remarkable total of 358,059 points, solidified her presence in the project group EL7Z U+P, showcasing her enduring talent and appeal.
Debuting in 2019 with their inaugural EP "Pink Punch" and the lead track "Bim Bam Bum," the six-member girl group Rocket Punch rapidly made waves in the K-pop arena. With their forthcoming single "Boom," the stage is set for their resurgence, igniting their journey with renewed vigor and creative flair.
As Rocket Punch readies to captivate audiences once again, their triumphant return promises to be a defining moment in the ever-evolving landscape of K-pop.
