Netflix, the global streaming giant, has officially announced the forthcoming debut of an enthralling Korean original romance series titled "A Time Called You."
Set to captivate audiences with its compelling narrative, the drama weaves an intricate tale of love across time, centered around the young woman Jun-hee, portrayed by the talented Jeon Yeo-been. Wracked with grief following the loss of her beloved boyfriend, Jun-hee's life takes an unforeseen turn when she stumbles upon a mysterious cassette tape. This unique artifact opens the door to a breathtaking journey through time, propelling her from the year 2022 to the nostalgic landscape of 1998.
With her memories intact, Jun-hee assumes a new identity as Min-joo, a high school student. The fabric of the story gains complexity when she encounters Si-heon, a fellow classmate who bears a striking resemblance to her departed boyfriend. As the plot unfolds, a web of emotions is spun, intricately connecting Jun-hee's past and present.
As the central love story deepens, a captivating love triangle emerges. Si-heon's best friend, In-kyu, finds his heart captivated by the enigmatic Min-joo, giving rise to a heartrending and passionate dynamic.
Notably, "A Time Called You" marks Jeon Yeo-been's second collaboration with Netflix, building upon her previous success with "Glitch" in October 2022. Joining the stellar cast is Ahn Hyo-seop, acclaimed star of "Business Proposal," who is set to portray the character Yeon-jun.
Marking a significant date on calendars, the series is slated to grace screens worldwide on September 8th. As the intricate threads of time, love, and destiny are meticulously woven together, "A Time Called You" stands poised to leave an indelible mark on the global stage, reaffirming the boundless power of storytelling and the magic of connection across eras.
