In an exciting development for K-pop enthusiasts, the internationally acclaimed group Secret Number is poised to make a grand comeback with their latest album, as confirmed by their agency, Vine Entertainment, earlier this week. Scheduled for release on August 24th at 12 p.m., the highly anticipated album comes just three months after the release of their sixth EP, "Doxa," in May.
Having burst onto the music scene in May 2020 with their debut single "Who Dis?," Secret Number boasts a diverse roster of talents from around the world. The group is comprised of Lea hailing from Japan, Indonesia's Dita, Korean American artist Jinny, and Minji, Soodam, and Zuu representing Korea.
Secret Number has become synonymous with their dynamic conceptual music and visually captivating aesthetics, which have been the hallmarks of their past chart-topping hits, including tracks such as "Who Dis?," "Got That Boom," "Fire Saturday," "Doomchita," and "Tap."
Their most recent offering, "Doxa," features the eponymous title track, with the added distinction of Jinny contributing to the song's lyrics. The album further includes a heartwarming fan tribute called "Beautiful One," dedicated to their devoted fandom known as Lockey.
In recognition of their impressive achievements, Secret Number proudly received the K Global Next Leader award at the prestigious 2023 K Global Heart Dream Awards held last week in Seoul. The group also made waves with a glamorous cover performance of Secret's "Madonna" on JTBC's popular music show "K-909."
As anticipation continues to mount, fans and music enthusiasts alike eagerly await the reveal of Secret Number's upcoming album, which is expected to once again showcase their signature blend of captivating sounds and visuals that have captured the hearts of a global audience.
