BTS Member V's Solo Single "FRI(END)S" Dominates iTunes Charts Worldwide

BTS member V's latest solo single, "FRI(END)S," topped the iTunes Top Song charts in 87 countries around the world, according to his agency, BigHit Music.
The digital single also secured the number one spot on the Worldwide iTunes Song chart, as well as the European iTunes Song chart, within less than 24 hours of its release.
Released at 1 p.m. on Friday (KST), "FRI(END)S" is V's first solo project since his debut solo album, "Layover," which was released in September.
Accompanying the song's release was a music video, which garnered significant attention, surpassing 6.7 million views on YouTube shortly after its release. The music video also climbed the charts for trending music videos in various countries.
Written entirely in English, "FRI(END)S" is described as a sweet love song portraying a confession of love to a friend.
