KQ Entertainment, the home of popular boy bands Ateez and Xikers, unveiled its own mobile fan app, TOKTOQ, on Monday. Developed in partnership with bemyfriends, a renowned provider of fan platform solutions, this venture marks KQ Entertainment's entry into the fan platform business.
The TOKTOQ application is now available on both the Apple App Store and Google's Google Play. Notably, the widely utilized fan platform service, Weverse, developed by HYBE and its subsidiary Weverse Company, currently dominates the market for both artists under and outside HYBE.
TOKTOQ offers a range of features designed to enhance the fan experience for KQ Entertainment's bands. Fans will have access to the latest news updates and receive push notifications for newly released content. Additionally, bemyfriends announced that more exclusive features, specifically tailored for global fan communities, will be unveiled in the near future.
Ateez, an eight-member boy band that made its debut in 2018 under KQ Entertainment, has garnered immense popularity with their chart-topping hits such as "Fever" (2020), "Halazia" (2022), and "Bouncy (K-Hot Chili Peppers)" (2023). Meanwhile, xikers, a 10-member rookie boy band, burst onto the scene on March 30 this year with their highly successful debut EP, "House of Tricky: Doorbell Ringing."
With the launch of TOKTOQ, KQ Entertainment aims to foster a stronger connection between its artists and their devoted fan base. As the app continues to evolve, fans can anticipate a host of new features that cater to their unique interests and allow for deeper engagement with Ateez, xikers, and the wider KQ Entertainment community.
As the world of K-pop continues to thrive, the introduction of TOKTOQ underscores the industry's commitment to providing fans with innovative platforms that enhance their fandom experience and strengthen the bond between artists and their supporters.
